AI Visibility is a WordPress plugin that logs which AI assistants read a website, verifies each one against the vendor’s published IP ranges, and turns the gaps on each page into a prioritized work queue. It runs on freestylewebsolutions.com/ and is included with Freestyle engagements.
What does it do?
- Logs 13 AI crawlers and labels each visit as training or a live answer, so you can see when an assistant pulled a page into a real conversation.
- Checks crawler identity. Scanners impersonate AI crawlers constantly; on this site the plugin filtered out 371 impersonating requests in one month.
- Scores every page on the structure assistants tend to quote, and lists the fixes worst first.
- Imports server access logs, because on cached hosts the live log only sees part of the traffic.
Why build it?
Most AI visibility tools sell a single score. I wanted the evidence underneath it: which assistants actually read which pages. I also tested whether a structural score predicts who gets recommended, in the AI visibility study. It didn’t, so the plugin reports what it can measure and labels what it can’t.
